Springs in! Its that time of year when its time to spring clean your wardrobe and put away your heavy coats (or rather store your coat at hand considering our temperamental British weather 🙂 )
With the sun peeping out and flowers to blossom the bold colours are back in!
Dannii Minouge, a Glamour style columnist illustrates here in this picture how a bold coloured maxi dress is all you need. The scarlet colour of Minouge’s maxi dress is so lush that no accessories are needed.
Minouge states that she adores the Maxi dress range by Camilla Kaftan since “She does the biggest range, so there is a shade and colour to suit everyone”. You can check out the range at www.Camilla.com.au and the Harvey Nichols store, London.
Hijab this look!
… If I wore this lovely maxi I would…
- Wear a thin, nude coloured long-sleeved top underneath the maxi, so the focus is still on the maxi dress. You would not really want to mix with other colours as it would overwhelm the rich red of this maxi for daytime wear.
- Similarly, the hijab should be a nude toned, casual styled hijab.
- Or for a more spicy, evening look wear with a matching coloured cardigan.
- If you want to tone down the bright colour you can wear a light, nude tone cardigan on top of the maxi dress
